Whether you care or not, I have a voice and I choose to use it
This is my freshly done representation of the Greek myth of Baucis and Philemon with a quote from Some Trees by John Ashbery. It was done by Steven Lam at Working Class Tattoo in Honolulu, HI. He was amazing and it only took about two and a half hours even with my ambivalence over completing the piece all in one session. I absolutely love it! :)
I’m a little scared. I am very much not looking forward to my boyfriend getting deployed. There’s no telling how long he’ll be here when he’s done with his training.
I don’t want to lose him again. It’ll tear my heart up worrying about his safety. I love him so much and I’m already too deep in love to back out now. There’s no turning back now. But…dear God please protect him. I can’t always be there for him but lord you can. Amen
